AfL Summer Soiree

Archives for London (AfL) are excited to announce that this year’s Summer Soirée will be held at the Royal Society of Sculptors.

Based in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Dora House is one of the oldest Grade II listed buildings in the area. Beautifully built in 1820 by William Blake, the property was purchased by eminent sculptor Cecil Thomas who was captivated by the building. Cecil and his wife Dora enjoyed the family home for many years before the property was bequeathed to the Royal Society of Sculptors in the 1960s. It has remained the Society’s headquarters ever since.
