As a result of recent government guidance we feel we must follow advice and postpone the 2020 Archives for London Conference. We will bring you news of a new date as soon as we can. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Archives for London Conference will take place on Friday 27th March!

Join us for a day of talks exploring the historic relationship between London and its rivers – including bridges, docks and sewers!

Talks include:

London Bridge and its Houses c1290-1790 – Dorian Gerhold

Crossness Pumping Station – Past, Present and Future – Petra Cox/Mike Jones

Vanishing Act: The smaller rivers of South London and Bazalgette’s Main Drainage – Jon Newman, Lambeth Archives
